Josephine Savarese is a visual artist, poet, non-fiction writer, and educator living in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Josephine works in mixed media. She began creating artwork dedicated to the environment during a sabbatical that she spent on Oahu the Hawaiian Island. The devastating effects of climate change prompted Josephine to reflect more deeply on the path we are on  – and to build those reflections into creative and educational pursuits. 

She joined the Harm to Harmony collective in 2020 and has participated in projects with newcomer youth and with women whose lives have been impacted by the justice system.

She has been a part of several projects: The Healing Power of Nature, Catch Wind of It.
