Fisheries and Oceans Canada is hosting an open house regarding Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) at Magaguadavic Place in St. George tomorrow, October 26th from 4-7pm.
The Conservation Council of New Brunswick and the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, NB Chapter, will also be present. Everyone is invited to drop in any time between 4pm and 7pm. There will be a kids table with colouring books, temporary tattoos and other items to keep little ones engaged.
The Open House will include information on Marine Protected Area planning in the Bay of Fundy as well as highlighting areas that have been identified as environmentally significant. Importantly, citizens will have an opportunity to give DFO feedback on their MPA plans. For more information see poster below.
