Summer is such a wonderful time in New Brunswick– warm weather and longer days mean more afternoons drifting down the St. John River with friends, paddling up the Musquash with your kids, weekends at your favorite beach, backyard BBQs and much more.
It’s easy to see why Canadians sometimes forget to support their favorite causes this time of year. But we’ve got a solution that will let you do both: Set it and Forget it, then go out and enjoy your summer!
We’re participating in CanadaHelps’ Great Canadian Giving Challenge. Starting today and for the month of June, each donation of $3 or more enters the Conservation Council in a draw to win an additional $10,000 donation!
Set up your $3 monthly donation now – it only takes a minute!
Or, increase our chances of winning the extra $10,000 by giving $3 or more multiple times over the course of June — remember, each donation of $3 or more earns us a ballot!
Not only can you feel good and have your summer, too, you have the chance to turn your small donation into a much bigger impact for your province’s leading environmental advocate.
Why donate today and not next month?
In the face of U.S. President Donald Trump’s energy agenda, Canada needs to stand strong on our environmental commitments. We need smart policies that meet or exceed our national commitments to reducing carbon pollution, foster renewable energy initiatives to create sustainable local jobs, promote smarter forest management practices, and ensure the health and safety of our public beaches.
Last year was a great year for the Conservation Council. With support from engaged and passionate New Brunswickers like you, we played a key role in informing the policies that led to the government’s Climate Action Plan. We helped guide the province to adopt stricter water quality standards following the contamination at Parlee Beach, and we launched our new-and-improved free Buy Local NB Directory where New Brunswickers can easily find local producers. But with your help, we can accomplish even more in 2017.
Give us the edge in 2017 — Participate in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge today by making a one-time or monthly donation of $3 or more.
